PRODUCT GENERALITIES:
Worm humus or Vermicompost is an organic amendment, soil bioregulator and corrector, whose main characteristic is its biostability, as it does not rot nor ferment. Vermicompost has a quick assimilation by plants roots thanks to its high solubilization. This worm humus is the result of worms excretions of the food they eat. It has a blackish colour, it is granulated, homogeneous and with a  forest mould odour.

PROPERTIES:
• Increase in plants, trees and bushes size, as well as protection against illnesses and sudden humidity and temperature changes during plants transplant.
• High microbial contents of an amount of 20 thousand milions dry grains, contributing to roots protectiona against bacteria and nematodes.
• It has 4 time more Nitrogen, 25 times more Phosphorus, and 2, 5 times more Potassium that the same quantity of bovine manure.
• High humic and fulvic acids contents, although these acids are not produced during worms digestive processes, but by the microbial activity that happens during the rest process inside the bed.
• It produces as well hormones such as indole-acetic acid and gibberellic acid, stimulating plants growth and vital functions.
• It improves soil physiochemical characteristics and its structure (making it more permeable to water and air), increasing water retention.
• Its dark colour helps keeping caloric energy and it neutralizes contaminating agents, such as insecticides or herbicides presence thanks to its absorption capacity.
• It prevents and fights ferric chlorosis, facilitates effectiveness of mechanical work on the fields, increases resistance to frost and favours as well mycorrhizas formation.
• Its activity remains in the soil up to five years and, as it has a neutral pH, it does not have any dosage or phytotoxicity problems, not even when used in a pure state.

COMPOSITION:
Humus of red Californian worms, having used to feed them only very ripe extensive ranching ovine manure. The result is a humus with the following characteristics:
• Humidity__________37-40%
• Ph_________________7.5-8
• Nitrogen__________ 1,30%
• Potasium _____________ 1,3%
• Magnesium__________ 1-2.5%
• Organic matter____30-40%
• Humic acids______1,4-3%
• C/N ratio_________13-15

DOSES AND APPLICATION:
• It is applied in spring and autumn by spreading the product on the field surface and irrigating the field afterwards so the bacterial flora joins quickly the soil.
• It does not have to be buried. When applied at the sowing stage it favours root development and, as it sponges the soil, it reduces irrigation frequency.

Worm humus disage:
• Grasslands________________800 g/m2
• Fruit trees________________ 6 Kg/árbol
• Vegetables_______________ 1 Kg/m2
• Grass_________________0.5-1 Kg/m2
• Ornamentals____________150 g/plant
• Seed trays_______________ 20%
• Basal fertilization________ 160-200 L/m2
• Transplant______________0.5-2 Kg/tree
• Soils recovery__ 2500-3000 L/ha

CONSERVATION AND SAFETY:

• It can be stored for a long time without having its properties changed but it is necessary to keep the product under optimum humidity conditions  (40%).
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Keep away from food, drinks and fodder.
