CHARACTERISTICS

PLANTASOIL-5 ®  is a silica watery suspension coming from the rock mother.

This product specific formula makes silicon effects in plants stronger and protects them against diseases, insect attacks and adverse weather conditions.

This mineral (Si) absorption provides :

- A mechanical protection of plant epidermis capable of decreasing phytopathogens infections. The Si is fixed and forms a Si-cellulose thin layer that protects and reinforces in a mechanical way plants cellular walls against water losses, perspiration and possible external infections.
- An effect of the resistance against plagues and diseases, caused by cuticles reinforcements  and self-defence mechanisms in plants induction. These effects are caused by a change in plant responses to parasite attacks, increasing phytoalexins synthesis, that can act either as inhibitors or as repellents. 

APPLICATIONS

The use of PLANTASOIL-5  is recommended to:
  • Preserve and stimulate leaves and fruits cuticles stability in adverse conditions caused by environmental conditions or pathogens attacks.
  • Especially, and thanks to the plants self-defence activation, provide an induced  resistance effect against external biotic agents in leaves or fruits preventing this way their propagation and its severe consequences.
