Ascophyllum nodosum seaweeds extract
CHARACTERISTICS
Seaweeds extracts made from Ascophyllum nodosum have a high percentage of organic matter, alginic acid and manitol (a sugar-alcohol), etc... in their contents.
The components that give these extracts their biostimulating propieties are their natural hormones. Among these hormones cytokinins are the most important ones and stimulate growth and interact with other plant hormones that regulate some cells specific functions. They stimulate, as well, cellular division and proteins synthesis.
Betaines are other compounds that take part in cellular metabolism stimulation. They contribute to methionine formation, which is an amino acid that acts as an intermediary agent in the polyamines and ethylene synthesis. They act as cellular protectors that contribute to cells osmotic pressure.
PHYTO-SOL-40 is a Ascophyllum nodosum natural extract, especially indicated as phytostrengthener, with high antioxidant pholyphenolic compounds and plants stimulants contents.
It stimulates plants defence and regeneration processes activation, helping plants to recover from damages caused by any kind of biotic or abiotic stress (water stress, very high or very low temperatures, phytotoxicity, etc...)
