CODIAGRO S.A. has presented in  Huelva the best solutions to increase fruits firmness and to reduce quality problems in long stem strawberry crops post-harvest life.


Codiagro, S.A.has as its main aim the continuous investigation to give solutions to crops problems and this is the reason why, thanks to the investigation agreement between Codiagro S.A. and  Huelva University, a series of tests have been carried out to evaluate the results of the combination of CALCIAMEC, ALCAPLANT and BOROCAL treatments. 


The results of these tests were presented the 16th of December by Dr. Antonio Dominguez, member of the Agroforestal Department of Huelva University, before a large number of farmers and technicians.



The tests results show that a combined and planned treatment of

 together with  and leads to:

- A fruits maximum consistency, either in the harvest or in the post-harvest stage.
- A significant increase of Calcium levels either in leaves or in fruits.
- The maximum qualilty of fruits in the post-harvest stage.
- A longer post-harvest life and a significant decrease of fruits rot.
